ALL SWIM LESSONS ARE SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19

MITCHAM
With more pools now starting to reopen, we hoped Dolphins could resume lessons in September. On carrying out risk assessments from the entrance, around the pool, changing room, waiting/viewing and soft play area. The conclusion is that at present it is impossible to keep within the current guidelines set out by government and the local authorities. Currently Swim England our governing body advise that teachers should teach from poolside wherever possible to minimise the risk of spreading Covid. 70% of our Dolphins children cant swim without help in the water. While other pools may be operating this way. Dolphins do not feel it is safety viable for us to operate this way. We will be discussing PPE for teachers with our local authorities in the coming days.

The good news is we are moving in the right direction by implementing some new measures and extra precautionary measures to help maintain social distancing. We are working hard to provide a safe, comfortable and fun environment ready for our return. Dolphins will reopen in November, date to be confirmed within the next few weeks.

WIMBLEDON
The College pool at Wimbledon remains closed for summer holidays. Pupils will return to education which is top priority for the school. The pool is set to reopen in late September early October. Date to be confirmed by Wimbledon.

Remaining closed for such a long time has had financial implications on most businesses, us included but our only priority is to follow the rules and protect the wellbeing of our staff, clients and your little ones even if it means staying closed a little longer.
We will be updating the website with the new Autumn course timetable in due course. Until then stay safe and dig out those trunks and costumes.... not long now

From all the team at Dolphins Thank you for your patience and continued support.
