Please read these terms
and conditions carefully, then sign in
the box on the booking form and return
to us before the start of your first term.
Safety - Never swim a
sick baby, if in doubt call us. The gate
in the hallway is there for your children’s
safety, please keep the gate closed at
all times. We ask parents to prevent their
children from climbing or standing on
the pool steps or the benches around the
play area and to refrain from doing so
themselves as these surfaces are often
slippery. Out of the pool your children
are your responsibility, we do not provide
crèche facilities and are not insured
to look after children except while they
are having a swimming lesson. Please hold
your child’s hand in the car park.
Remember, this is a place of business,
there are a lot of blind corners in the
car park and delivery and other drivers
may not be expecting children to be there.
We cannot be held responsible for any
accidents that happen outside of the building.
Bookings - To book lessons
please call the office or see the receptionist
and ask for a booking form which you need
to complete and return to us along with
the full course payment. Please note that
your place is not booked indefinitely.
Make sure you contact us as early as possible
to avoid disappointment as we allocate
spaces strictly on a first come, first
serve basis. Please note that fees are
non-refundable unless we are unable to
allocate you a lesson. If you wish to
change the day and/or time of your lesson
while the course running you will incur
a £5 admin fee.
Payment - We now accept
credit cards. You may pay either by credit/debit
card (£1 credit/50p debit), not
American Express or business cars) by
filling out the attached form, or by cash
at reception. All lessons must be paid
in full when you send in your booking
form. If you haven’t paid you will
not be allowed to swim. Please be aware
that fees are not negotiable. If your
payment is not received with your booking
form you may lose your space.
Absences - We would be
grateful if you could inform us of any
absences at least 24 hours in advance,
with the exception of sudden illness and
emergencies. No refunds or credits will
be given and missed lessons cannot be
made up or carried over from a previous
course.
Health and hygiene - All
children must be accompanied by an adult
when using the toilets. Children under
3 years old must wear a swim nappy and
rubber pants in the pool, (even if they
do not normally wear a nappy) please make
sure you get the correct size. Children
with long hair must wear swimming hats
which are available to buy at the desk.
Any parents with long hair must ensure
that it is securely tied back and all
jewellery removed. No oily body lotions
is to be worn in the pool. You must shower
before entering the pool. This is very
important.
Poolside - No outdoor
footwear is to be worn past the large
gate in the hallway. Prams and pushchairs
can be left in the hallway where the desk
staff will be happy to keep an eye on
them but please fold them up and make
sure they are not obstructing any doors
as they could pose a fire risk. Please
refrain from giving instructions to your
children while they are being taught,
our staff find it extremely difficult
to teach in this situation.
Food and drink - Do not
feed children for at least 2 hours before
their lesson. Food or drink is only to
be consumed in the seating area provided,
please do not eat in the changing rooms,
the play area or near the pool. Please
use the bins provided.
Parking - To make sure
that everyone can find a space please
park within the marked bays. We have 20
spaces in all but many are wasted by thoughtless
parking. Cars parked on the roadway, in
another company’s space or in-between
bays will be asked to move and may be
clamped.
House Rules - Under no
circumstances are cameras or video equipment
to be used on the premises without express
permission from the management. Please
take the time to read any notices we put
up as this is the easiest way for us to
communicate with you. If your children
use the play area please tidy up after
them before you leave. All children must
move up to a larger pool when they achieve
their 20 metre badge, this is for their
benefit only, not ours.
Complaints - Our teaching
staff are only human and sometimes they
leave, become ill or wish to go on holiday,
unfortunately teacher changes are unavoidable.
Please do not be rude or aggressive to
any member of our staff, if you have a
complaint please contact us in the office
on 020 8640 4488 between 9.30am and 5.30pm
weekdays, an answer-phone is available
outside these hours.
